About Fruity Balloons Fruity Balloons (originally Party House) is based in Cambridge. We specialise in Party House Balloons in a Box Gifts, Helium Balloon Bouquets, Party Balloons and Party/Event decorating. We provide excellent value and service, ensuring that all our customers will be delighted with everything they buy from us. About Our Balloons Foil Balloons Our large Foil Balloons are inflated with helium which makes them float. Helium is odourless, colourless, non-flammable and non toxic. It is however an asphyxiant and should never be inhaled. Foil balloons are sensitive to extreme temperature changes. In cold air, they may appear deflated; moving them to a warmer location should expand them again. They should never be placed in extreme heat as this may cause the helium to expand and split the balloon. Foil balloons may conduct electricity and should not be released outside or used near power lines. Helium filled foil balloons will float for up to five days but kept in the correct conditions they may float for much longer. Some of our display balloons have floated for up to two weeks, and the new designs available are made of lighter material and can float for up to three weeks in perfect conditions. Latex Balloons We only use the very best Qualatex® latex balloons, which are made from 100% natural biodegradable latex. Latex can be sensitive to heat and it is therefore best to protect your balloons from high temperatures. The latex balloons used in our Helium Balloon Bouquets are treated with Hi-Float® To extend float time. Warning:- Small children can choke or suffocate on broken balloons, please dispose of deflated or broken balloons immediately. Bubble Balloons Bubble Balloons are made of see-through stretchy plastic. They float for weeks, are non-allergenic and non-oxidizing. They look great on their own or can be used with foils or/and latex balloons to create bouquets. Delivery Balloons in a Box deliveries are made throughout the North Island by Fastway Couriers. Please ensure you select your delivery location at the checkout screen. Check the rural delivery box also if your delivery address is on rural post delivery. We cannot courier goods to PO Boxes, so please use a street address and post code. You will be quoted the freight price for your order at the screen where you enter your address details. This will give you the total price for your order, including freight and GST. Goods are not sent until cleared funds are received by Fruity Balloons. Please order well in advance of the occasion you wish to have the items for, and enter the date you want them delivered to ensure items can arrive on time. Goods can only be dispatched once payment is received by Fruity Balloons (cleared direct credits and approved credit card payments). Once payment has been received by Fruity Balloons delivery times are as follows: (Based on orders and payment received before 1pm) Cambridge Area - Same Day if required Hamilton Area - Next Business Day North Island - Next Business Day Rural Addresses - Can take up to an additional 48 Hours depending on location. During peak seasonal periods deliveries may take longer. Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday. Monday & Saturday deliveries only available in Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Morrinsville and Hamilton (please make sure someone will be at the location to receive the goods as Fruity Balloons can only make one trip to these areas on Mondays & Saturdays).
